There are several small groups of Bedfordshire Sedgwicks living near each other which could possibly be related.The families in Husborne Crawley and Aspley Guise have now been connected thanks to the 1841 census. The original surname was Sisicks or Sissex. The use of the christian name Richard suggest that there could be a connection to a group of Woburn Sisix's. There are also earlier groups in Leighton Buzzard and Wilshamstead which will be added to the site soon. |
