Thomas Sedgwick [Thomas Sedgwick / Mary Grinwell] In 1861 and 1871 Thomas is working as a railway plate layer and living in Witton le Wear. By 1881 he is working as a farmer of 13 acres in Marshall Green. Elizabeth probably died in 1897. The children were either born at High Bitchburn, Marshall Green or Witton le Wear depending which census is looked at. Thomas gives his place of birth as North Bedburn in the 1881 and 1891 census returns. |
