Thomas Sedgwick [John Sedgwick / Lucy (Louisa) Hart] In the 1841 census Thomas is working as a labourer and in 1851 as a maltster. In 1861 Elizabeth, widow,is living in St Oswald, Durham with 5 of her children - son John an apprentice tailor. By 1871 she is in Elvet with four children and one grandson - son William a tailor and son George a shoemaker. Still in Elvet in 1891, grandson John is described as son. By 1891 just Elizabeth and Louisa share live together in St Giles, Durham.. |
