Edward Sedgwick [Edward Sedgwick / Susannah Pallavicino] bpt. 20 January 1658 St Augustine, Watling Street, London m Rebecca Elsmore 24 February 1678 d. 1729 Walkington, Yorkshire Edward was the only surviving son by the time that his sister Susannah Robinson made her will in 1716. He was Rector of Walkington, Yorkshire which is probably where his younger children were baptised. Elizabeth and Eusebia Sedgwick, daughters of Robert were baptised in Weighton-Market, Yorkshire in 1703 and 1713. It seems likely that this is related to this family and Robert's date of birth has been adjusted here to take account of this. In 1681 Edward and his wife leased a shop to William Rochell - from A2A. A reference in A2A shows an Edward Sedgwick of Walkington remarrying his wife in 1702 following irregularities in the first marriage ceremony. Son Edward was apprenticed as a coachmaker in 1703.
