James Sedgwick [John Sedgwick / Mary Hearne]
In his 1868 will, James describes himself as gentleman of Abbots Langley and appoints his nephew William Fellows Sedgwick as his executor. In the 1881 census James' son William is described as a land surveyor. In 1901 a William Sedgwick, born in Rickmansworth, gives his profession as taxidermist - is this the same man? Sophia died in 1880. |
