| Peter Sedgwick [John Sedgwick / Ellen Oliver] b. 19 February 1838 Wigan, Lancashire m Margaret Mason 1857 d. before 1871 In the 1861 census Peter was a coal miner. In 1870, widow Margaret remarried to Lewis Blackledge and in 1871 the family are living at Trimdon. There are 2 Ellen's of a similar age - one married and one died in 1885. My assumptions as to which is which need to be checked. |
