John Sedgwick [Unknown Sedgwick] In the 1861 census John and his wife are living in Ealing - John described as a gas works labourer aged 23. The eldest child was 14 so John's age must be wrong! In 1871 John's age is given as 47 and all the family's birthplaces as Old Brentford. His son William is a hawker lodging in Brentford. Is it daughter Mary Ann aka Betsy living with a William Sedgwick in Chelsea? By 1881 only Jane still lives with her parents. |
