Henry Sedgwick [James Sedgwick / Mary Sims]
Henry was a railway worker in Upper Langwith, Derby where he lived with his wife Rose and his mother-in-law. When he left Langwith in about 1915, he was a railway inspector. He and his second wife Lydia Topham were licensees of the cattle Market Hotel in Retford . They moved to Boston to manage the Lord Nelson Hotel. Lydia died within six months of the move and Henry died the following year leaving a young daughter Mary. Both are buried in Ordsall where they attended church. |
