George was present in Westbourne for the 1641/2 Protestation Returns. West Sussex Record Office has a number of references to this family including a 1664 letter from George to Sir Edward Heath regarding travel expenses to Horsham Assizes and a 1674 power of attorney between George and his son John regarding land in Bosham. |
