John Sedgwick [Edwin Abraham Sedgwick / Sarah Horsecroft]
John was a coal miner but later in life ran his own business. In 1900 in the 1900 Barnsley Trade Directory John advertised as General dealer in all kinds of scrap iron, metal, brass, zinc & lead. The store was in Peel street. John lived in Church Fields Barnsley and from 1905 at 21 Westgate. He had a Greengrocers at 10 Westgate run by his son Alfred until 1936. |
