John Sedgwick [Robert Sedgwick / Ann Smith] More solid proof is needed to deffinitively prove the family group shown here. The first suggestion of a connection is the baptism of children in a Wesleyan chapel. The second is that Giles born in Leeds is living with his brother Robert in 1851 - Robert was born in Malham but appears to have been baptised in Suffolk. The baptism record gives Jane's maiden name. Robert was a joiner / builder in 1861. Could 'son' John be the individual who died in Rochdale in 1893? John junior's wife was the daughter of a wesleyan minister so it seems possible to me. |
