Luke Sedgwick [Unknown Sedgwick] Luke is apparently the son of William and Mary Sedgwick of Kirkthwaite. The use of the christian name Luke by Leonard Sedgwick suggests that the two are related. His 'first' wife was apparently buried in 1755 so the second marriage could well be associated with a son Luke. Two additional children are suggested - Jerimus and Maria. Has anyone any proof other than the IGI? |
